Chateau Acar de Bedou is one of the oldest and most magnificent structures in the region, with its historic architectural features preserved.
The chateau consists of many buildings and structures. The main building was constructed in 1876, and the other buildings date back even further.
The chateau has hosted many famous figures over the years. It served both war victims and the French army during both World Wars.
The chateau changed hands many times until it was purchased by the artist Ismail Acar in 2009. At the time of purchase, the chateau's vineyards were very old, neglected, and on the verge of extinction. The vineyard land has been maintained, and the vineyards are in the process of being re-established.
